Bible Prophecy (Truth & Deception)

The Image of the Beast

Lucifer is a Latin word (from the words lucem ferre), literally meaning “light-bearer”

The use of the name “Lucifer” in reference to a fallen angel stems from an interpretation of Isaiah 14:3-20, a passage that speaks of a particular Babylonian King, to whom it gives the title of “Day Star”, “Morning Star” (in Latin, lucifer),[2] as fallen or destined to fall from the heavens or sky.[3] In 2 Peter 1:19

True or False Apostles?

—————————–

Acts 8:1-4

1And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.2And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.3As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.4Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

Except the apostles?

Does that make sense at all?

Remember, in the gospel of John, when the apostles were behind closed doors right after Jesus was crucified, because they were afraid!

The question is…which apostles is Luke referring to that he says remained in Jerusalem?

Revelation 2:2
I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear
them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

Quite possibly it was the false apostles spoken about in Revelation 2:2 that remained in Jerusalem!

=============================

Acts 9

1And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,2And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.3And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:4And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

IF Saul was out to get the disciples…why wouldn’t he try to get them through infiltration? And why in the world would he not apprehend the apostles that remained in Jerusalem unless they were charlatans!

Matthew 27:32

32And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.

Mark 15:21

And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian, who passed by, coming out of the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus,

to bear his cross.

Paul is speaking next:

Romans 16:13

Salute Rufus chosen in the Lord, and his mother and mine.

So is Saul/Paul saying that Rufus is is his brother?

If the above is true,

that could mean that Alexander is Saul/Paul

and

the son of Simon!

Luke 23:26

And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.

The only gospel that does not mention Simon of Cyrene is the Gospel of John.

As I have mentioned numerous times in other posts: John was very succinct about his accounts of what happened with Jesus Christ and he is the only chosen apostle to have his gospel included in the bible.

Revelation 13:13-15

13And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,14And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

Mark 12:41-43

41And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.42And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.43And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:

I can just see Jesus sitting over against the treasury! GIve me a break.

Luke 21:2

And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.

I’m sure most people have heard of the Shroud of Turin and recently they have discovered two mites on each of the eyes of the images.  Read last paragraph in the link below about it:

“The Shroud of Turin – Evidence of authenticity”

And more items of interest many of which were mentioned in biblical accounts such as “crucifixion nail, a Roman spear, a sponge on a stick, a crown of thorns, two scourges, a large hammer, a pair of pliers, and two desecrated Jewish phylacteries or prayer boxes.” Please read the link below:

Research by Dr. and Mrs. Whanger

There are burn holes on the shroud that form the letter “L” .

Pope Benedict XVI

In 2000, Cardinal Ratzinger wrote that the Shroud of Turin is ″a truly mysterious image, which no human artistry was capable of producing. In some inexplicable way, it appeared imprinted upon cloth and claimed to show the true face of Christ, the crucified and risen Lord.”[101]

Pope Benedict XVI has not publicly commented on the Shroud’s authenticity, but has taken steps that indirectly affect the Shroud. In June 2008 he approved the public display of the Shroud in the Spring of 2010 and stated that he would like to go to Turin to see it along with other pilgrims.[102] In April 2009 Pope Benedict XVI advanced the beatification process of Sister Maria Pierina De Micheli who coined the Holy Face Medal, based on Secondo Pia’s photograph of the Shroud, by formally recognizing a miracle attributed to her.[103][104]

Revelation 13:14-18

15And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.18Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

The image of the beast should both speak! Whew!

That does seem awful coincidental

that Revelation 13:15 would use the word BOTH

when referring to the image of the beast and

the Shroud of Turin is made of two images!

Shroud of Turin Story

Letters in Hebrew have been discovered on the Shroud of Turin.

By the way, Hebrew letters represent numbers!

This is the Coat of Arms of Pope Benedict

Please notice the Bear and the Moor Head and the Scallop!

Moor of Freising: The Moor’s head is an heraldic charge associated with Freising, Germany.

Corbinian’s bear: A legend states that while traveling to Rome, Saint Corbinian’s pack horse was killed by a bear. He commanded the bear to carry the load. Once he arrived, he released it from his service, and it returned to Bavaria. The implication is that “Christianity tamed and domesticated the ferocity of paganism and thus laid the foundations for a great civilization in the Duchy of Bavaria.” At the same time, Corbinian’s bear, as God’s beast of burden, symbolizes the weight of office that Benedict now carries.

Scallop shell: The symbolism of the scallop shell is multiple, one of the meanings is thought to represent Saint Augustine. While a doctoral candidate in 1953, Fr. Joseph Ratzinger wrote his dissertation on The People of God and the House of God in Augustine’s Teaching is always about the Church, and therefore has a personal connection with the thought of this great Doctor of the Church.

Luke of the gospels was a physician!
